The Rejuvenation creative team consists of highly passionate, collaborative and process driven thinkers. As part of the team, you’ll bring your ideas to the discussion. Our role is to create cohesive visual direction for the brand, across all channels to bring products to market creatively.

In this role, you will balance the execution of silo digital photography and product focused lifestyle of all Rejuvenation product. You will be responsible for executing a high volume silo / PIP shots and ECOMM lifestyle, including lighting, setting up, and file managment. You will co-manage the daily workflow and partner with Producer, Sr. Studio manager, and Assocaiate Art director in setting up best practices and most efficient workflow. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Art Directors to establish brand consistency in our product lifestyle photography and be part of the team that defines the visual identity of the brand. Key metrics are excellent creative vision, expert execution, effective management and production of photography and maximizing shot count per day.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established brand style guide, execute to brand standards and ensure consistency of image composition and lighting.
  • Partner with Creative Director, web partners, and sr. studio manager in updating the style guide as needed in an effort to provide the best shopping experience.
  • Partner with ecomm producer and sr. studio manager on the daily/weekly shot list to group similar type shots together to maximize efficiencies.
  • Partner with sr. studio manager to build and maintain camera and lighting equipment inventory.
  • Take direction from sr. studio manager + producers regarding expected shot counts and deliverables.
  • Responsible for daily file naming, uploading of images for all running sets and delivering to re-toucher.
  • Maintain and establish new processes to ensure workflow efficiencies, creative flexibility and maintain high volume production of all photography.
  • Research and implement new creative tools and technology advancements in photography to improve online customer experience.
  • Manage silo photography retoucher and ensure all imagery meets brand standards of retouching.
  • Operate a computer and communicate via telephone
  • Transport materials and equipment and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis.

Criteria

  • Minimum of 4 years commercial experience in product/still life, interior, and editorial style photography.
  • Strong technical understanding of strobe, continuous, and natural lighting.
  • Working knowledge of digital image quality and output: File size, light and color balancing.
  • Proficient with MAC/PC, Photoshop, INDESIGN, and Capture One, Word and Excel proficient preferred.
  • Proficient with all studio tools, lighting, technical software, and systems.
  • Experienced professional who stays current with photography trends, lighting, technical advances and changing creative tastes.
  • Ability to work with Canon DSLR and Phase One camera backs. Masters digital camera system and understands its benefits and limits.
  • Deep understanding of digital photo technology and how to improve internal processes and customer experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and still be able to see “the big picture”.
  • Understands internal and external customer trends and anticipates needs; assesses industry trends and identifies new solutions, products and/or services.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, and concurrently manage multiple projects
  • Exveptional communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative and productive manner.
  • Strong demonstrated creative eye, sense of design in all applications of the photographic image, especially as it relates to editorial and consumer applications.
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
