About us:

DFYNE is small but exciting, and extremely fast-growing women’s sports apparel start-up, based in Cumbernauld, that design, develop, and manufacture a range of sports apparel.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Photographer with editing skills to join the marketing team at DFYNE. You will be responsible for being part of the development and execution visual identity, and be responsible for all imagery consumers see from DFYNE.

We are looking for a creative individual who has an eye for that perfect shot, and knows how to achieve the perfect image in line with brand ethos and visual identity.

About the role:

First of it’s best I introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here), it’s not the norm on a job role spec, but I feel it’s important for this one in particular. I’m Oscar, the founder of DFYNE.

You’ll be working closely with myself and the marketing team to plan, implement and execute incredible imagery for product shots, campaigns, and have the opportunity to work with some of the best equipment on the market, as well as travel the world for events and much more.

I’m looking for someone who see’s things differently. Who can feel the brand and communicate this through imagery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan photoshoots in line with company objectives and upcoming campaigns.
  • Identify the right models for each shoot and campaign, to ensure that imagery marries up with our campaign and brand ethos.
  • Keep track of all photography equipment and ensure they are in good working order.
  • Identify shoot locations for each campaign, alongside our brand manager and campaign manager.
  • Take the shots for all campaign’s and product shots for the website, and any social media or email content where needed.
  • Edit all imagery in a timely fashion to the required aspect ratio’s for all campaign’s.

What we’re looking for:

  • Organised and always strive to improve the visual identity of DFYNE.
  • In depth knowledge of photography, and the adobe suite.
  • Able to use high end photography equipment, speed lights, lens filters, and full understanding of how to achieve a photo brief.
  • Able to hit deadlines for visual assets, and edit them to a high standard.
  • Proficiency using Cannon equipment.
