Job description

Studio Photographer and Viewer Required

Due to expansion, we're looking for another Photographer to come and join our team in Venture Studios Birmingham.

The job is very much a people person role. It involves creating rapport, consulting our customers before you photograph them, delivering incredible imagery and an experience in the Studio, editing and retouching of all of their images, and then showing them your, or your colleague's, final pieces in our cinema rooms. You'll then guide and advise them as to what will work based on their interior and budget requirements. All training will be given and is ongoing, but you need a creative and customer service focused approach.

Between edits, shoots and viewings, you'll also be booking our customers into the diary, meeting and greeting, and showing them their final pieces in their bespoke wall art orders.

The role will offer you:

An opportunity to work in a creative and dynamic environment and a chance to be creative in a fun and friendly environment. All training will be given and good growth and career prospects are available.

However, to even be in for a chance of interview you must:

Have at least 1 year in professional / non student studio portrait photography and know Photoshop and light-room to a high level.
Be creative.
Work well in a team.
Have a "can do" attitude and great interpersonal skills.
Love working with customers.
Be great with kids as well as grownups.
Great on the phone and face to face.
Be a generally lovely person who likes working hard and has a passion for what we do.

If this sounds like you, please email us a CV, covering letter and link to a portfolio of images (these can be attached images, a website, an image hosting site, or social media link). Please note any applications without images will be automatically rejected.

Hours will be Tuesday to Saturday (with occasional Sundays). Full time. 40.5hours per week.
