Job description
We are delighted to be able to offer a Phlebotomist/Health care assistant post for. Mount Pleasant Practice.
Main duties of the job
- Works alongside clinicians to provide patient care
- Undertake and record measurement of height and weight, urinalysis, measurement of blood pressure, temperature and pulse
- Recognize changes in the patients’ recordings which must be reported and acted upon
- Assist clinicians in emergency management of patients
- Enable patients to access appropriate professionals in the practice team
- Act as a chaperone
- Provides relevant health promotion literature for patients
- Ensure stock items are ordered and provided in GP and treatment rooms, including emergency equipment as appropriate
You will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical friendly staff.
Candidates should have full training.
Competitive Salary depending on qualifications.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: From £10.45 per hour
