This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of phlebotomists working for the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust
We provide a high standard blood taking service in several different venues across Huddersfield, Calderdale and Kirklees
We are looking for individuals who must have evidence of a good level of education (please see job specification) along with a determination to deliver compassionate care. Past experience of working in health care / customer service setting is essential and venepuncture skills are desirable.
You must have the ability to work under pressure and be able to meet the travel requirements of the post. There is an emphasis on working within a team and being a team player. You also need to be confident working alone once full training and competence has been achieved.
This is a seven-day service and there is a requirement to work at weekends and bank holidays as per the service rota between the hours of 07:30 - 20:00
However, the service requirements are continually changing to meet with needs of the patients, so flexibility is a key component
Relevant posts will be subject to an appropriate DBS disclosure.
