About The Role
You would passionately deliver consistently high standards of customer service, whilst supporting customers health and wellbeing through appropriate sales, services, advice and referrals. As a high performing Accuracy Checking Technician you will accurately label, dispense and assemble prescribed medicines, completing first accuracy checks for the Pharmacist or where appropriate the final accuracy check of items that have been clinically checked by the Pharmacist. .
As a General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Registered Technician, you will also use the skills and knowledge gained to support and develop the pharmacy.
To provide a friendly and efficient service to our customers, adhering to our Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures and Data Security & Protection requirements at all times.
You will support the Pharmacy with the delivery of agreed KPIs
You will ensure medicines are sold according to guidelines and queries escalated where appropriate to Pharmacist
Supporting with stock control levels
Support and manage with customer compliments/complaints

Ability to use own initiative to help resolution of customer queries
Has completed an approved Pharmacy Assistant course (e.g. NPA Interact)
Has completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course (e.g. NPA DAC)
Has completed an approved Pharmacy Technician / Accuracy Checking course (e.g. BTEC Diploma Level 3 in the Principles & Practice for Pharmacy Technicians - including ACT competency ) and is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (4 years of courses)
