Job Title: Pharmacy Support Worker
Grade: Band 2

Location: Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Oxford Road, M13 9WL
Hours: Five 8 hour Shifts Monday to Sunday

In this role, your responsibilities will be:
· Ability to adhere to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations)guidelines consistently.
· Ability to perform a safe and effective delivery of controlled drugs.
· Collect and deliver ward generated prescriptions.
· Liaise with key relationships in order to facilitate service development and good practice.
· Ability to participate in on call duties.
· Ability to assist with the moving of large qualities of bulk fluids on a daily basis.
· Ability to support in governance, administrative and service development duties.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
· A NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
· Ability to work flexible
· Have prior understanding Medical Gasses and Pharmacy Distribution
· Interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and ward/department staff
· Attention to detail
· Keen organisational skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced, demand changing workplace
· Be physically able
