Job description
To provide general support with daily pharmacy operations, providing and assisting with the delivery of patients medications, supporting patient with the Healthy Living Pharmacy campaigns.
- As Pharmacy Logistics Driver, you’ll be taking medication to our customers in the community and Care Homes. Picking up prescription forms from doctor’s surgeries.
- To continually monitor the quality and improve patient services, mitigate errors and track operational performance.
- Risk management and Health and Safety management when meeting patients.
- Maintaining the quality of the data of the Pharmacy tracking systems
- You’ll be delivering a high level of patient service and will be the face of our company to many of our patients, who rely on us to provide a compassionate and professional community pharmacy service.
- As well as ensuring that patients receive their prescriptions safely, you will be required to assist the pharmacy team in the Pharmacy Dispensing Team activities.
- Ensuring "a great patient experience" is delivered at every level through quality and patient satisfaction monitoring and to also ensure effective and relevant quality control measures are in place
- Maintain the log of the delivery vehicle and is kept safe and clean at all time.
Required skills / qualities include:
- We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a confident and friendly manner, with excellent customer service and organisational skills, a good knowledge of the local area and excellent personal presentation as you will be representing the company in the local community.

- Able to work under pressure and thrive working in a fast paced and target driven environment
- Quality focused with a passion of delivering excellent service and getting it right for our patients
- have strong communication skills
- be able to plan effectively and work to deadlines
- 2 years experience dealing with mental health, old vulnerable people would be advantageous for this role
- A Full UK driving license is essential. 3 years
- Local road knowledge
- Working 10.30am/11am to 7pm, 30 - 37 hours per week, working 1 weekend in a month
Will be driving a small van - 2 years driving experience required
