Pharmacy Dispensing Technician/Assistant Dundee, Scotland
Job description
We are looking for a pharmacy dispensing assisstant/technician who is enthusiastic about community pharmacy and who can provide excellent customer service to help the pharmacy team continue to deliver a high standard of pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of Pharmacy NVQ2. We actively encourage our staff to further their knowledge and skills and will support development and completion of NVQ 3 (if applicable) for the correct candidate. Wallacetown Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy located within Wallacetown Health Centre in Dundee. The pharmacy is supported by a team of two full time pharmacists, an ACT and five pharmacy support staff. The advantage of having two full time pharmacists allows the pharmacy to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and NHS. This has enabled us to be at the forefront of piloting, influencing and developing pharmaceutical services. The pharmacy is actively involved with all services within the Scottish Pharmacy contract as well as having a proactive involvement with locally negotiated services.

Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
