Over Pharmacy Dispenser - Trainee Considered.

We are a friendly rural pharmacy within the Over Surgery, dispensing to approximately 6,000 patients/patients. We have a small but busy dispensary and an Independent Pharmacy business. Excellent patient care and great service is at heart of everything we do.
The closely - knit team comprises a Superintendent Pharmacist, Pharmacist, Accuracy Checking Technician, dispensers and a counter assistant. We also work closely with the multidisciplinary team within the GP surgery which includes Doctors, Nurses and administrative surgery staff.
You will assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate. You will be serving the community and interacting with customers on a day to day basis.
You will have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services/accredited equivalent course along with a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification or, a willingness to work towards gaining this qualification.
It is important that the applicant has excellent customer service skills and can work to a high standard as governed by our policies and procedures. They will be required to assist with over the counter duties and must be able to work well as part of team.

Good rate of pay dependent on experience, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
