We are delighted to announce that we have a fantastic opportunity for Pharmacy Dispensers to join our team at our Wellbeing pharmacy, The Richmond Surgery, Richmond Close, Fleet, Hampshire GU52 7US
As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will help ensure that our customers and patients get the best possible service every time they visit our Pharmacy. Through your passion to deliver a great healthcare service and your ability to provide professional advice, you'll play an important role in your local community. The knowledge you gain at Wellbeing Pharmacy will enable you to deliver products and services that have a direct, positive impact on people's lives.
Duties/Responsibilities- Usual responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
- Taking in and handing out prescriptions
- Labelling and dispensing prescriptions (Under supervision where applicable) using dispensary computer system and in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner
- Dispensing (Under supervision where applicable) controlled drugs and make necessary entries in the CD register in accordance with standard operating procedures and complying with relevant legal controls
- Building relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining stock control and cost effective purchasing
- Maintaining dispensary cleanliness and standards
- Managing our patients and care home monitored dosage systems dispensing
- Efficiently organizing workload and dispensary layout to ensure efficiency
- Providing assistance in completion and organization of pharmacy paperwork
- Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration
Required skills: Candidate must have strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills and must be keen towards self development.
Required experience: An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a pharmacy.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour
