Part time hours Monday to Friday ( approx. 6 hours per day )
Evening Driver 4.30PM -10.30PM [could be longer or shorter depending on traffic]
Will involve runs from Coventry ,Lincoln, Northampton, Nottingham, and across the west midlands
Applicant needs to be flexible and able to cover daytime shifts for holidays ect
Applicant must be fit to carry deliveries up and down stairs
As a Delivery Driver for the Dispensing Centre, you’ll build strong relationships with our pharmacy teams and local customers who can’t get to our stores for their prescriptions or healthcare products. These are often some of the most vulnerable members of the community, and our home delivery service is vital to their wellbeing. Working closely with the Team Manager, your local knowledge and a passion for delivering a great service, along with a light-hearted nature will ensure that your valuable cargo gets to the right patient at the right time!
It is essential you have a Full UK Driving Licence, good knowledge of the local area and have the flexibility to cover other drivers at short notice and for holiday cover and have basic computer knowledge.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of medication to customers from the pharmacy
- Collection of prescriptions from doctor’s surgeries where required
- Completion of all legally required training in order to carry out duties
- Completion of daily paperwork with all legal requirements fully adhered to
- Daily Vehicle checks
- cleaning the vehicle
- carrying equipment and delivery totes up and downstairs

Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before employment can commence. This includes both spent and unspent convictions, as well as information held by local police deemed as relevant to the role. Employment is conditional on satisfactory DBS clearance.
