THE ROLE
Account Manager – Oxford Based.
IPS is one of Oxford's fastest-growing digital health companies. We specialise in building digital platforms for the global pharmaceutical industry. We are now looking for an Account Manager to play a key role within our growing team and to take the lead on key client accounts. You will be working from our offices in Oxford so will need to be within easy commuting distance.

Adept at building and sustaining long-term client and key stakeholder relationships, you will be skilled at identifying and creating new opportunities for business growth.
Using your strong financial skills, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to provide strategic insight as well as tactical day-to-day management of your accounts as well as providing line management of the account team, as appropriate, supporting their development and training.
You will be able to work effectively, in conjunction with the wider delivery team to ensure business objectives are met, on time, and within budget.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a similar healthcare communications agency role is desirable
- Ability to lead and manage the wider in-house team to deliver projects on time and to budget across multiple teams and therapy areas
- A good understanding of and ability to manage internal and external resource teams (including writers, project management, digital and design teams)
- Ability to build strong client relationships and attend meetings as required
- Budgeting, forecast, sales pipeline, and planning in conjunction with the wider account management team to ensure business objectives are met, on time, and within budget
- Ability to provide effective financial management and planning for your accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good eye for detail
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills with the ability to drive new business opportunities
- Ability to put together and deliver client pitches
- Strong presentation skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with the wider in-house team and senior management
