Job Description: As the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility Setup Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by overseeing the design, construction, and establishment of our new manufacturing facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams/service provider, including engineering, operations, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to ensure that the facility is built to the highest industry standards and is compliant with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for setting up the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, including facility layout, equipment procurement, installation, and validation processes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the facility design aligns with operational requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget completion of the facility setup.
- Coordinate equipment selection, procurement, installation, and qualification activities, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement quality and compliance strategies to ensure the facility meets regulatory requirements (cGMP etc.).
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities to facilitate necessary inspections and approvals.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of professionals involved in various aspects of facility setup and operations.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management, addressing any issues or deviations promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize facility efficiency, safety, and overall performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in pharmaceutical manufacturing facility setup, including equipment procurement, validation, and regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations and other relevant industry standards.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Prior experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
