t PGIM Real Estate Europe 150 professionals in 8 offices (London, Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Paris and Milan) manage $14.7 billion3 gross assets under management across equity and debt strategies.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
The role will be based in Central London though the candidate will also gain exposure to a variety of European countries (across the UK and Continental Europe) and sectors (office, retail, industrial, residential, self-storage, hotels, student housing, care homes, etc.).
The role will include the following:
- Support senior team members in investing in real estate finance opportunities (across senior investment loan, development whole loan, mezzanine and preferred equity mandates and across multiple jurisdictions); support will span from initial deal analysis, through to full transaction underwriting, investment papers, legal and technical due diligence, and closing.
- Development and management of financial models, market research, detailed property assessment and underwrite, review of due diligence reports, preparation of deal memorandums for internal and external investment committees and communication with external parties (to include advisors, borrowers, lenders, partners, etc.)
role to also include involvement in ongoing fund management (working with portfolio managers), asset management (working with asset managers), as well as involvement with the capital markets team, on an ad hoc basis.
Your Required Skills
- Bachelor degree sought preferably with concentration in Real Estate or other relevant degree.
- 1-3 years’ relevant work experience in property within the European market.
- Proficient analytical and technical skills as well as demonstrable strong verbal and written skills.
- Experience with transaction closing and legal documents
- Strong inter-personal skills to deal professionally and with credibility with senior executives and external parties
