We are currently looking for motivated, committed and hard-working petrol station assistants in our Bridgeton Site to be a part of our future growth.
Shifts
* Must be flexible with shifts
The role of petrol station assistant involves:
· Watching and monitoring the store and forecourt ensuring customers have a great experience.
· Authorising fuel pumps, serving customers and being responsible for cash handing / card payments.
· Assisting with stock control and management within the store including accepting and checking new deliveries, re-stocking shelves, manual lifting of heavy stock, rotating stock, date checking and ensuring the store is fully stocked at all times.
· Providing general advice and guidance to customers on shop products, services and offers.
· General cleaning and housekeeping within the store.
· Awareness of security in the store including looking out for shoplifters, fraudulent money and fraudulent bank cards.
About you:
· Previous experience within a petrol station or retail environment preferred
· Fully flexible to work a variety of shifts including early starts and late finishes
· Willing to provide support and cover for holidays and sickness when required
· A passion for delivering world class service
· An excellent work ethic and ability to use own initiative
· A positive attitude and professional demeanour
· A friendly and engaging personality
· A strong desire to learn and develop
Salary:
Up to £10 per hour
Reference checking will be completed
