Doggie TLC is a local dog caring/dog boarding concern. Our aim is to give dogs a home away from home, so their Owners feel relaxed and comfortable that their special friend is in a caring and knowledgeable environment. Our approach is to offer dogs a stimulating place, where we encourage socializing, reinforce obedience, and go on long walks mixed with lots of TLC.
This is a hands on role, which involves getting to know the dogs, playing, teaching and taking care of them. It is important to mention that we strive to work around the Owners' timings for drop-off and pick-up therefore flexibility is essential.
The work ambience is friendly, pro-active and relaxed.
Job description
We are looking to fill the following role:
Dog Handler
We are looking for someone who is pro-active, knowledgeable and experienced in handling dogs, to join our team. Being comfortable and calm around dogs is important.
Training as a vet or animal nurse would be a plus.
Our aim is to work around Owners' schedules so as to ease their concerns, so we see the role as working 3 days a week including some weekends.
Flexibility is essential as we work as a team, so it would mean coordinating with the other members to ensure the dogs in our care are always supervised.
Own car required

As covid 19 precautions we receive dogs in an open environment, wash our hands regularly. If someone is not feeling well we ask them to return when they are feeling 100%.
