Job description DOG WALKER / CARER/ DRIVER
Main purpose of job:
COLLECTING DOGS FOR THEIR DAILY EXERCISE / TIME OUT.
HELPING WITH CLASSES AS REQUIRED.
WALKING GROUPS OF DOGS ON & OFF LEAD AS INSTRUCTED.
POO PICKING
CLEANING VEHICLES
BEING ABLE TO WORK AS A PAIR, ALSO SOLO IF NEEDED.
Position reports to: OFFICE MANAGER IN FIRST INSTANCE

Salary: £10.42

5. TO KEEP VEHICLES CLEAN
6. HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES AROUND WORKPLACE & MESS ROOM

8. ANY OTHER REASONABLE TASKS ASKED BY MANAGEMENT
9. TO USE A SAT NAV
10. ATTEND WORK MEETINGS

Licences, registrations and qualifications:
FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE
DBS CHECKED,
PET FIRST AID AN ADVANTAGE ( not a necessity)
The role needs to have many special qualities, not necessarily paper qualifications. The ESSENTIAL qualities would be a no fear, pack leader, firm but loving passionate doggie person. I do need the applicant to be 22+ for the purpose of my vehicle insurance.
This is a hard-working job that involves driving of vans, can be very messy and you are on the go all day.
You need to be able to work with a smile on your face and a be lover of the outdoors in all winds and weathers.
Your roll would mainly be working alongside your crewmate of the day but there could be parts of the day spent working alone. During your week you will rotate around vans, doggies & crewmates, sharing the driving and daily responsibilities of collecting and returning dogs for their daily fun and walks.

You will need to be able to interact with work mates, doggie parents, relay messages and answer questions as necessary. There will be poo picking and general chores to do during and after your plays / walks.
To the right doggie crazy person the job is very rewarding and you wont be short of new doggie friends . There will be occasions where you will be required to stand in for holiday cover, sick leave etc
Contract length: Initially 3 months probation with the possibility of moving to a permanent contract when this time span ends and if both parties are happy.
