Job description
Dog Groomer required to manage our established grooming parlour on site at the boarding kennels. This is an opportunity to develop our range of services and build the client base.
Come and join our established team at our animal care centre which is much more than a traditional kennel and cattery. On site, we also operate a canine hydrotherapy centre, successful grooming parlour, dog walking service, puppy training and we own a 15 acre secure dog park. Rate of Pay
Up to £16.00 per hour depending on experience.
Hours per week
Part time hours of work initially, however demand is increasing so likely to be full time work available. Work is provided by clients of boarding dogs and general enquiries.
N.B. The successful applicant should hold a Level 3 grooming qualification with previous dog grooming experience essential.

Ability to work consistently to high professional standards is also essential and good references will be required.
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to handle and control all types of dogs
Patience and confidence to cope with different temperaments of individual dogs
Passion and love of grooming
Good customer service skills
Manually dextrous and good hand eye coordination
Good eye for detail
