The Opportunity...
As a Personnel Security Supervisor you will ensure that the NNB Central Vetting Services meets all business and regulatory requirements, addresses ongoing and future vetting-related and Personnel Security issues.
In this role you will be developing new vetting-related policies and processes to underpin the changing personnel security needs of NNB projects.

What you’ll be doing…
Investigating and validating new and existing ways of working/technology to support the NNB vetting processes across licensees.- Analysing Personnel Security processes and procedures, developing mechanisms for continuous improvement, leading change management activities through to successful implementation.
- Organising NNB stakeholders and external agencies ensuring internal and external software systems and processes for Personnel Security remain fit for purpose throughout the lifecycle of NNB projects.
- Managing and representing the Personnel Security interface between NNB Security and the Employment Affairs Units for Personnel Security ensuring the delivery of the Personnel Security Regime.
- Ensuring Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) applications and vetting confirmation requests submitted are reviewed and decisions made according to the CVS Service Level Agreements and that appropriate records are maintained ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
- Monitoring and providing feedback to Site Security Managers on personnel security KPI’s including throughput, timelines, and costs.
- Processing National Security Vetting (NSV) requests and acting as a sponsor if appropriate to ensure the correct level of vetting is achieved in a timely manner.
- Maintaining day-to-day supervision of CVS administration to ensure resolution of any issues impeding the vetting of staff and contractors.
- Developing the NNB security assurance programme on external personnel checks, to deliver accurate assurance reports for NNB projects.
Who you are…
Your background may include some of the following:
- Experience managing operational security in a regulated environment.
- Expert knowledge of personnel security principles, practices and of NNB Software programmes used for personnel security.
- Experience of change management.
- Experience implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
- NSV at Security Check (SC) level.
