Dron & Dickson are specialists in integrated supply, installation and maintenance of harsh & hazardous electrical equipment. Based at five UK locations, we provide specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical and Marine industries. Managed from our UK locations, our services operate within the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Position:
This position would be ideal for someone who is already experienced within a Personnel Logistics role or alternatively, with our significant growth plans in place for our business, someone who wishes to grasp the opportunity for that next step up into a Supervisory / Senior Lead Personnel Logistics position with the aim of growing and evolving as our business grows.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end process of personnel travel, logistics and planning operations to ensure the timely mobilisation and movement of personnel.
Objective: The primary objective of this role is to lead the personnel logistics team and all appointed client personnel logistic operations within the department to achieve customer satisfaction inline with company strategy.

Direct Reports: Personnel Logistics Coordinator
Core Alignment Responsibilities:

Role Responsibilities:
- Maximise personnel utilisation through the effective planning and movement tracking of personnel
- Responsible for the management and effectiveness of all logistics, accommodation, travel & visa procedures
- Overall responsibility for the personnel plan to reflect actual and planned movements of personnel including the management of availability and onshore commitments.
- Management of the Personnel Logistics Coordinator, ensuring they are accountable for the work scope they manage and time is allocated effectively
- Provide line management mentoring and support for the Personnel Logistics Coordinator, to ensure training and development needs are identified and addressed in line with competency assurance systems
- Produce monthly reporting on personnel logistics status
- Management of travel agencies and performance, approving all travel related invoices
Project Planning & Management
- Work closely and communicate regularly with Project Coordinators in relation to work scope and manpower status.
- Communicate & liaise with client planning / logistic departments
- Attendance at the weekly personnel planning meetings.
- Liasie with the Recruitment & Training team to ensure the timely mobilisation of all personnel in relation to mobilisation clearance.
- Arrange travel and accommodation as requried ensuring travel is arranged as per contractual and operational requirments and in line with work instructions
- Liaise with offshore personnel and provide required crew change details and information
- Manage IR35 requirements to ensure compliance and complete status determinations in line with the statement of work and mobilisation dates
- Ensure Dron & Dickson personnel and resources meet mobilisation requirements, adhering to all contractual personnel and mobilisation requirements in relation to the scope
- Track and monitor annual leave requests
- Utilise Vantage to ensure the accurate tracking and update of personnel
Cost Control
- Produce monthly expenditure reports
- Identify cost saving opportunities
Other
- To maintain good communications with internal and external clients
- To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes
- Ad hoc duties as requested by management
- Travel may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.
- Social and business networking is expected
- Participate in On Call Rotation

Contracted Hours: 38.25 hours per week with 45 mins for lunch
Hours of work:
- Mon to Thurs: 8.30am – 5pm
- Fri: 8.30am – 4.30pm
