Job Description Summary
12 month fixed term contact with potential for extension – 20 hours per week over 3/4 days (to be agreed).Group Sourcing & Supplier Management (GS&SM) collaborate with business units and platforms to ensure we understand their purchasing needs and are able to share with them the supply market dynamics, to assist them with making informed decisions on the goods and services that the Group acquires.

JOB TITLE: Personal Support Assistant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
SALARY: £24,000-£28,400 (Pro-Rata)
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh / Bristol / Halifax / Wolverhampton
HOURS: 20 Hours Part-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least
two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this opportunity

As a Personal Support Assistant you'll
- Provide proactive ongoing diary management and planning with daily diary reviews, keeping an eye on invites and changes throughout the day and calling them out to the manager. Regular issue resolution (e.g., diary clashes and re-prioritisation of appointments) in discussion with manager and other colleagues.
- Ensure appointments accepted have the appropriate meeting links, attachments and / or briefings in accessible versions and that the manager is prepared for all meetings.
- Monitor the manager’s inbox, highlighting items requiring urgent attention, actioning where necessary and ensuring that responses are dealt with efficiently.
- Provide relevant support tasks e.g., travel booking, arrange meetings, taking minutes at meetings, create and maintain team distribution lists, assist in the completion of expenses.
- Proactive in finding accessible versions of training and other documents.
- Provide a range of diverse support e.g., presentation compilation, event management, research and analysis, project support, creation of accessible packs.

What you'll need
- Highly organised, proactive and professional
- Good knowledge of MS365, Workday and Valued.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive management of workflow and prioritisation
- Use of judgement and initiative to facilitate effective decision making.
Any experience of these would be really useful
- Familiarity of Microsoft 365 Accessible functionality would be great but not essential
