Personal Care Assistant for a young man 19 hr/wk @ £11.91/hr in Prudhoe - FTE - £24.8k

I am a 30-year-old young man with a diagnosis of Congenital Cerebral Palsy and have associated severe learning disability. I have an exciting opportunity for new team members to join my healthcare team. I live on my own with my care team in Prudhoe.

Training If you have caring and compassionate qualities, then you don’t need any previous care experience, as you will learn all your new skills in your new role. You will work under supervision until full healthcare training is complete and competencies are signed off by health care professionals.
Hours available I require 1:1 support over a 24-hour period 7 days per week and 2:1 support in accessing the community.
I am looking for a PA to join my team to support on a Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 6pm 3 weeks out of 4 weeks.
I would like you to start work as soon as we receive your enhanced DBS check (cost to be met by Employer).
You will also have regular opportunities to cover for staff holidays and sickness.
Main duties:
- Personal Care Moving and Handling
- Administering Medication via the PEG
- Epilepsy Care Supporting with eating meals and fluids.
- Keeping my living space clean and tidy Washing and ironing my clothes
My Hobbies and Interests: I am really easy going and I enjoy getting out and about for walks in the local community and also visiting cafés for lunch. I like watching TV when I am at home.
Hourly rate of pay £11.91 per hour
