What support I need:
General duties for this role include:- Aiding me with daily activities of daily living, including all aspects of personal care.
- Recreational activities which will ensure I have community access and access to hobbies.
- Providing information and support to me and my family around my care.
- Maintaining daily record sheets outlining support required each day.
- Participation in training to further your knowledge which will assist with rehabilitation exercises with respective therapists.
- Working collaboratively with therapists, such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, to support my ongoing rehabilitation needs.
- Providing companionship and support.
- Assisting me with management of medication as required.
- Providing transport to and from rehabilitation activities, such as physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
About you and our requirements:
Support will be living-in for week long shifts.
You will need to have a full, clean UK driving licence.
An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy (expense met by HomeCareDirect)
