Personal Assistant (Slough Children First)
- Salary: £32,101 - £36,413 (including local weighting)
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Contract: Fixed term for 12 months (maternity cover)
Do you have experience of minute taking and managing diaries? Then, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Assistant for 12 months on maternity cover.
As a Personal Assistant, you play a key role at the heart of the company, working with the Corporate Support Team to ensure smooth running of services and provide the necessary support to the executive in order to function effectively and instil good practice.
You will mainly support the Director of Operations who has the largest remit in the company and statutory responsibility for children’s social care. You will provide support to the EA with Board level committees and partnership meetings, and support to the CEx, Board and wider executive team at busy periods/ annual leave cover. Minute taking experience will be key.
Another key part of this role is line management responsibility of the Panel Coordinator, who covers all social work operational meetings the Director of Operations chairs. You will need to ensure this is delivered smoothly for the Director and cover annual leave periods.
You will also work with the team on a rota to field all external calls to the company. It is about to be a particularly busy and interesting time for this role given the Director of Operations joined the company at the beginning of February. We will be interviewing as and when we receive applications and recommend early application. In return, we can offer you:
- training and development opportunities
- agile working supported by technology
- flexible working policies
- friendly working environment and great colleagues.
