Town View is a House of Multiple Occupancy that is home to 5 people that we support. The house is an open, bright and homely environment designed to accommodate people with varying support needs. The team consists of approximately 15 personal assistants that work together as a team to deliver professional, compassionate and person-centred care to the residents.
"We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun and sociable person who can help support us with a wide range of individual activities to access and achieve, this includes swimming, walks, going out and about in our cars and visiting new places and days away, short break holiday. We also require support with chores at home, cooking, cleaning and help with paying bills"
We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team and on their own initiative. Understand and be able to promote individuals' choices and support our complex health needs with confidence and professionalism. A willingness to undertake required training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills required for the role"
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
