Job Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
- Administer nursing care in a mental care + nursing home environment, and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor
- Interpret lung and Heart Sounds
- Care of patients with CVA or Head Injuries, Dementia, Oxygen, Pacemaker, Foleys, Peg Tube, and mental disabilities
- Delivers compassionate nursing care while achieving resident/family satisfaction and positive clinical outcomes.
- Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
- Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.
Requirements:
- Experience is required
- Valid PCA Certification or CNA License
- Eligible to work in the United States
- CPR certification
- Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
- Ability to patiently encourage patients to do tasks, assist in tasks, and then do tasks if needed
- Travel up to 15-25 miles each way daily with your own transportation
