The role
There are 2 roles; Personal Assistant to Director of Legal and Governance and Personal Assistant to the Service Director for Local Services.
You will be responsible for providing high quality administration and secretarial support which includes co-ordination of meetings, booking venues, preparation of agendas and supporting papers, diary management, handling telephone calls and taking minutes.
Who are we looking for?
A proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in accurate minute taking is preferred and attention to detail is a must.
This is a full time position, working 37 hours from Monday to Friday on a flexible basis. The role is predominantly office based and the successful applicant would be based at County Hall in Morpeth.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
