An exciting and immediate opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Personal Assistant (PA) to work within The Edinburgh health and social care partnership. This role will be working from home initially, but will be based at Westerhailes Health Living Centre, and covers the South West of the city.
The EHSCP are an organisation that works with both the City of Edinburgh Council and NHS Lothian. Both organisations are integrated in the planning and delivery of all community health and social care services for adults and older people, along with homelessness, mental health and disability services.
We are seeking to appoint an individual with previous experience of working in a demanding and challenging PA, Team Secretary or Administrative Officer role together with an understanding of a complex multisite organisation within the Public or Private sector.
This role requires the ability to be flexible, along with excellent organisational and communication skills, and be experienced in minute taking at a senior level. The successfully appointed candidate will be expected to undertake all aspects of secretarial/administrative support and have a high level of competency in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
In this unique role and you will have the opportunity to support teams across a wide portfolio of high profile and critical work programmes requiring an ability to work collaborative both internal and external stakeholders.
Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ in Administration at Level 3, or significant relevant equivalent experience. It is essential that the post-hold can demonstrate a high degree of organisational ability, together with excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills. This is a permanent post 37.5 hours/week. Your hours will usually be 08.30-16.30, but some level of flexibility is required to provide support to the locality manager and respective teams.
