Location: Truro
Dog-lover who’s training to be a counsellor, seeks a kind, caring and bubbly self-employed personal assistant to support her at home and in the community. She has a diagnosis of registered blindness, arthritis of the spine, knee dislocation, asthma, and has a super-pubic catheter.
Support required:
· Support going to and from college
· Personal support
· Meal preparation in evening
· Going to appointments
Hourly rate of pay: £15
Total hours: 20hrs per week. There are 2 positions available.
Weekly structure:
Monday to Sunday:Morning – 30 minutes. Evening – 30 minutes. Times can be negotiated with any successful applicants
Fridays: Normal support in morning then taking to college for 9am and picking up at 2.30pm. (This is every 3 out of 4 weeks)
Essential:
- The lady has dogs, so any applicants must be okay with animals
- Full driving licence, as lady has a motobility vehicle. (Applicants would need to be over 21-years old to drive the vehicle)
