Job description
To provide a full and comprehensive Personal Assistant role to the Division Psychology Lead and also provide medical secretarial support for the medical staff within the Bolton directorate to manage and co-ordinate a team of medical administrators / administrators, ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources.
The post holder will have line management and supervisory responsibility for the medical administrators / administrators and support staff.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the validation of all reports coming into the service in regards to data quality and data completeness. You will be responsible for the assurance of meeting all local and national targets.
You will be a well organised and experienced with knowledge of medical terminology. You will ensure all consultants and clinicians within your area of responsibility are organised and equipped to fulfil their responsibilities. Appropriate electronic systems will be maintained, along with coordinating their clinical activities.
To carry out all relevant tasks pertinent to the Specialist role of the Consultant Psychiatrist and the line management of your administration team which may include:
- Administrative support on behalf of the medical staffing team
- Personal Assistant support for the Psychology Lead.
- Administrative support to the team/s within your area.
- To robustly line manage and appraise your administration and support staff.
- To adhere to policies and procedures in line with managing of staff members.
