Role is for an initial 6 month period but may develop into a permanent position
The CanoeMan has a small workforce delivering the largest canoe, kayak and paddle board hire facility in the UK. We are now looking to recruit an individual to work alongside the company director on a daily basis to oversee the booking system, answer customer phone and email enquiries, manage staff timesheets together with other administration tasks and be flexible enough to turn their hand to the day to day requirements of the business. (Invoicing, ordering etc.)
The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of Microsoft office, a good level of typing ability, have a keen eye for detail together with a sound knowledge of social media applications, a pleasant telephone manner and customer service experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
During the season the phone will need to be answered between 0930hrs and 1300hrs daily together with emails being dealt with this can be done remotely. When required to attend the office it is located in Blofield so transport would be an advantage but not essential.
All training and necessary technology will be provided to allow remote working a good broadband connection would be necessary to accommodate remote working.

You will be expected to work closely(virtually) with our head of Marketing and development (currently working remotely 2 days per week from Runcorn!) who will provide guidance in the role.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
