Permanent Gas Engineer
Come and join our one great team here at Haven on a Full time, Permanent basis as a Gas Engineer in our Facilities and Maintenance Team, to help us create great memories that will last a lifetime for our Guests!
What You'll Be Doing
As an on-site Gas Engineer, you will report to the Head of Facilities and support our Maintenance Team to complete reactive and planned maintenance to ensure everything is in good working order while making sure that all our holiday homes are safely connected and certified.
- You will deliver day to day gas repairs across a variety of holiday homes and units, including boiler and water heating systems,
- Carry out full gas connection of our holiday homes to cylinders and meters
- You will be responsible for gas testing and ensuring new appliances are installed safely in our holiday homes
- You will keep clear and accurate records of checks, audits and renewals.
- Ensure Health & Safety is always a top priority, providing a safe and secure environment for our Guests, Owners and Team
Maintenance work will be carried out re-actively as well as planned with a preventative approach. Providing quality workmanship and following all Haven Health & Safety requirements whilst on the job.
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week over 5 days
What We Would Like You To Bring
You will be a Qualified Gas Engineer with Domestic or Commercial experience or have gained the relevant experience and qualifications needed within a similar role in Facilities or Maintenance.
- Hold all current Gas Safe Qualifications including LPG systems
- Experience of completing gas work within holiday homes would be desirable but not essential
- Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
