Permanent Full/Part Time Café Assistant 9.00-5.00pm
We are an established, family run business, catering for young families and visitors to our farm attraction and farm shop.
Homemade is our motto and we make all our own cakes, pies, hot and cold meals and our expanding our range of specials and homemade items for the Farm Shop.
We are open daily, 9.00 to 5.00 pm and the farm is closed from 24th December to the 1st January inclusive, you will have Christmas off!
Working hours 9.00am -5pm, Wednesday, Friday and every other Sunday
Job duties: To perform duties front and back of house including customer service, till operation, basic food preparation, cleaning and other general duties associated with working in a catering environment
Essential Skills
- Confident in basic food preparation
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate & Allergen Awareness- training will be given where appropriate
- Be able to deliver Great Customer Service in a professional and polite manner
- Team player, self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable
- Able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and procedures
- Able to work in a busy environment and deliver excellent standards
- Good communication skills to be able to liaise with customers & colleagues
- Take pride in personal appearance
- Experience of working in a busy customer facing role preferable
- Must have own transport, we are not on any bus routes
