The Howard School is seeking to appoint a Performing Arts / Music teacher who is dedicated to excellence and effective teaching from September 2023.

The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner, contributing to the development and maintenance of a purposeful, nurturing learning environment.

This is an exciting time to join The Howard with a number of significant changes planned for the near future that will support our move towards excellence. We opened a new Science and DT block in November 2021, which saw a fantastic £5m investment in The Howard School from the Department of Education. This state-of-the-art block has been a hit with pupils and staff, helping the pupils to further their learning in a purpose built environment.

Information about the federation

The Howard Academy Trust started in Autumn 2015 and continues to grow. As a Trust, we currently comprise of Medway secondary and primary schools, with future growth plans extending into North Kent. Our overarching aim and vision is for our member schools to deliver an outstanding education for children and young people. We endeavour to ensure that all our students have access to the highest standards of teaching, resources and opportunities. The Trust's role is to oversee the leadership and vision of member schools and to develop effective and supportive partnerships between them.
