Salary: £37,548 - £45,892
Location: Leeds
Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Lovell Park office.
About the role:
The Home Insurance Pricing & Commercial team is part of the General Insurance Platform and sits within the Insurance, Pensions & Investments business unit.
In this role you'll become part of our hard-working team, analysing key themes through performance data to identify possible impacts on the business and provide accurate predictions of future performance.
About this opportunity:
Respond swiftly and accurately to Executive requests for performance insight, taking personal accountability for a quality response.
Identify, suggest, and implement improvements to existing business practices to deliver more efficient access to performance data.
Uncover emerging issues and trends. Identify potential causes, related issues, and barriers. Suggest and implement improvements to existing design and business practices.
Utilise data visualisation techniques (eg Tableau) to bring performance to life enabling greater accessibility for platform teams, incorporating metrics against plan and OKRs.
Improve performance reporting using additional data sources (such as GDW).
Work across Platform teams to bring together multiple data sources to help present and visualise a more comprehensive performance outlook.

What we need from you:
Strong numerical skills with experience of Excel to support analysis of performance and scenario modelling.
Ability to apply analytical methods and financial modelling to a number of scenarios supporting the Home Insurance strategic outcomes.
Ability to analyse Performance data using scenario modelling technique and articulating this to senior leaders using the outputs to inform the story.
Excellent partner management skills and the ability to disseminate large amounts of information and articulate these to senior management.
Excellent attention to detail for quality checking inputs and outputs and an eye for detail.
It would also be useful if you had:
Experience of visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data manipulation (SQL or similar)
Experience of financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills
