The Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Performance Analyst to join our PFI Highways in Sheffield (Flexible)

The Performance Analyst role plays an important part in ensuring that the commercial team understand their contractual obligations and perform to these standards. It provides guidance to increase skill levels, including the tools and infrastructure needed to support structured continuous operational improvement, and direct support to delivery teams on the most challenging project within Amey.


The standard hours of work are 37.5 per week.

You will be responsible for:

  • Being an on-site superuser, confirming data warehouse and the bespoke Performance Requirements Management System
  • Interacting alongside the Performance Manager with group IT to identify risks, development, change programmes and improvement areas.
  • Assisting with delivering improvement and supporting the prioritisation of improvement effort
  • Developing, reviewing and analysing Amey KPIs, contract and functional performance management frameworks

What makes this role unique is Sheffield PFI is the largest Highways in the country and has a contract term to 2037. This role is a critical role and will help shape the way Amey delivers it services for the next 15 years. It will give the right candidate exposure to challenges and projects that are complex and varied


We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Communication skills as this role will require interacting with various teams across Amey
  • Monthly Performance Meetings

Ideally you will be qualified in HND level or equivalent qualification and having an understanding of highways maintenance and civil engineering and exposure to PFI’s.

In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have experience of Contract Management to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
