Role: People Services Assistant
Location: London, we offer a mixture of hybrid and office based working.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Here at Gousto we have a great opportunity for a People Services Assistant to join us on a permanent basis. As part of the People Services Team you will play a vital role in supporting the business and wider People / HR team by acting as the first point of contact for various People queries, promoting and delivering a great HR experience.
Reporting into the Senior People Services Advisor you will support a variety of colleagues across our business on various queries including payroll, benefits as well as joiners movers and leaves.
Core Responsibilities:

Manage employee lifecycle for our employees and managers, including:
- Onboarding of new starters (including contracts) and leavers;
- Changes to terms and conditions of employment;
- Payroll administration
- Maternity, paternity and adoption leave entitlements etc
- Delivering an all round world class employee experience
- Filing and maintaining people-related documents in dedicated spaces, including but not limited to contracts etc.
- Develop strong and trusted relationships within the department and throughout the business to enable effective collaboration on all People initiatives
- Offering high standard transactional support services to internal customers within agreed SLAs
- Performing pre-payroll administration for employees
- Delivering benefits administration, including various enrolments and record maintenance;
- Providing training on people admin tasks as needed
- Supporting the delivery of People strategy through occasional project work, testing and research
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a similar role and demonstrable admin assistant experience desirable
- Good understanding of a People / HR Services Team or Department
- A brilliant communicator with the ability to understand and work with complex information;
- Naturally discreet, operate with integrity and trust
- Resourceful in your approach to problem solving
- Detail oriented and accurate, focussed on delivery and quality;
- Understands the importance of a collaborative environment, with excellent interpersonal skills
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial culture, requiring the best from its people
