Job description

As a People Partner at Fnatic, you’ll have a key role to play in driving a performance-led and collaborative culture within the business units you support. You’ll build a deep understanding of the challenges of each business area, partnering with managers closely to become a trusted advisor to them.

You’ll support business leaders to achieve their goals and plans through their people, spending your time coaching and giving feedback to help hiring managers build capability and experiences to equip Fnatic for scale and future role demands. You’ll also be comfortable dealing with the unforeseen, supporting management of day-to-day people matters as they arise in a way that reflects Fnatic values.

This role is offered on an (up to) 12 month fixed-term contract basis.

Your mission is to:

    • Partner with line managers on a regular 1:1 basis to build capability throughout the people population you support and proactively identify behavioural/competency gaps
    • Manage Talent Acquisition processes from market mapping, candidate screening and coordination as required
    • Be a key point of contact for new joiner onboarding and facilitate introduction to Fnatic people, tools and ways of working
    • Maintain and iterate department specific levelling frameworks to support KPI setting/performance measurement and related individual progression plans
    • Oversee performance management processes for your assigned business units, and support staff through probation and continuous feedback touchpoints
    • Implement external compensation and benefit benchmarking framework and lead on regular reviews
    • Understand resource needs within teams to support hiring roadmaps where necessary
    • Ensure People policies and practices are fit-for-purpose for your business units, and ensure they are well-communicated and understood amongst your people population
    • Maintain knowledge of employment law and People best practice
    • Manage offboarding processes as required, and utilise learnings to enhance retention
    • Manage ER cases as necessary; with support from Legal and external specialists if required
    • Build MI and provide regular insights to management on ways to improve staff performance and experience
    • Identify L&D opportunities and build internal resources/trainings, as well as identify external providers where relevant
    • Inform People Operations of any changes within your business units that may impact reward/compliance
    • Support internal communication processes and ensure Fnatics broadly are aware of the business impacts of the teams you support
    • Work alongside People & Culture colleagues on diversity, engagement and wellness initiatives, and generally make Fnatic a great place to work
    • Support the creation of content to promote life at Fnatic externally and enhance our employer brand
    • Carry out ad-hoc projects as defined by the People & Culture Director

We're looking for:

    • Generalist HR experience in a fast-paced, high-growth or progressive environment
    • Comfort dealing with senior stakeholders
    • CIPD qualification with in-depth knowledge of UK employment law and practices
    • Familiarity with a range of people enablement platforms (ideally including Lattice)
    • Experience managing people matters in multiple global jurisdictions
    • A natural people person with high EQ; able to deal with issues with sensitivity and tact
    • Commercial mindset and ability to consider People issues within the broader context of the business
    • A meticulous eye for detail and pride in accuracy
    • Clear, succinct and influential written and verbal communication skills
