What We Are Looking For...
The People Operations Advisor works as part of the People Operations team to deliver excellence on day-to-day matters. The role is the first point of contact for colleagues in Retail and HQ through People Operations shared inbox, supporting colleagues and managers with their more complex People queries.
The People Operations Advisor quickly adapts to constant change in People processes, policies and procedures, and often drives some of these changes. The role follows the established SLAs and escalates more complex issues to People Operations Manager or People Partners. They are a good communicator able to build trust & rapport quickly, can prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Supporting family processes (maternity, paternity, adoption, baby loss etc.): advising line managers and colleagues on the processes, creating paperwork, assisting managers with more complex cases, keeping and maintaining information on the current Family log
- Supporting long term sickness process: advising line managers and colleagues on the process, arranging OH visits, sharing reports, creating paperwork where necessary and assisting managers with more complex cases
- Supporting with disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working and other ER cases (note taking, supporting managers, preparing paperwork)
- RTW day-to-day issues and support for line managers (i.e., ECS checks, visa queries, expired paperwork)
- RTW quarterly audits
- Support with running People Operations retail training sessions and Family Hub training sessions for managers
- Supporting with contractors’ process, paperwork and maintaining of a current log
- More complex inbox queries (i.e., relocation requests, career breaks, complex Oracle issues)
- Supporting with staff discount process
- People Operations LOTI hub: updating content, adding in new pages, guide and information
- Training People Operations Administrators on wider range of processes and queries (i.e., family processes, LTS process)
