We have an exciting opportunity for a People Operations Excellence Manager to join our newly created People Operations Excellence team. As a leader in the formation of the team, you will contribute by:
- Driving and leading your team across all action plans of the People Operations Excellence team. Motivate, coach and lead to ensure performance and continuous improvement
- Building and embedding a customer focus culture across your team
- Developing efficiency and accountability within the team to ensure appropriate targets and deadlines are met
- Developing effective relationships and collaboration across a wide range of stakeholders with which the role interacts
The position plays a vital role in delivering and shaping the regional HR Operations Excellence across your geographical location. Leading a team to deliver an outstanding level of customer service to T&F colleagues through the entire ‘hire to retire’ employee lifecycle, the People Operations Excellence Manager drives a high-performance regional service culture.
The POE team will be fully integrated and functional, enjoying efficiencies in their daily work thanks to process improvements, digitization, and in the future the introduction of self-serve functions for colleagues across the business. These tools will allow the experts who comprise the POE team to additionally focus on specialised, project-based work that contributes to their own career aspirations.
The following skills are typically desirable:
- Proven track record in HR and Operational Processes within the UK/EMEA
- Experience of leading a team
- Experience of developing workflow processes and systems
- Good knowledge of compliance, data protection and local employment laws
- Strategic thinker, with strong leadership skills and demonstrable passion for collaboration
- Proactive attitude, with excellent judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and change
Additional Information
Location: – The successful candidates will be able to utilise our balanced working model. UK colleagues will have the Milton Park or Colchester offices as their hubs. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance to ensure that if a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required.
