We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a People Onboarding Coordinator to join our Onboarding team.

The role
- The People Onboarding team will provide a best in class Offer and Onboarding service, to both internal and external candidates. Key focus is on delivering both a high quality new starter experience and proactive support to Phoenix hiring managers and stakeholders. Provide a strong contribution towards HR Onboarding being valued as an integral part of the HR function & business. As well as create an awesome colleague experience every time, whilst delivering operational excellence
- Role Specific Accountabilities
- Responsible for Onboarding tasks from offer approval to Day 1
- To process the incoming work within the team, ensuring all aspects of the onboarding process are covered and completed in a timely and professional manner and to ensure objectives and targets are met and regularly updated whilst building in continuous improvement
- Ensure the advice given to all users (candidates, hiring managers, employees and external parties) is of a high quality, consistent and delivered in a customer centric focused way
- To work alongside the other Co-ordinators to deliver and onboard candidates to Phoenix
- Escalate issues and challenges to the Senior Onboarding Co-ordinators in a timely manner
- Meet Onboarding expectations through the HR Hub & our Vetting provider – including meeting SLA’s etc: providing accurate management information to evidence activity and effectiveness of the team for the People Onboarding Manager.
- Ensure your work is compliant with required Audits and that Onboarding processes meets all legal and compliance related requirements and correct documentation is gathered e.g Right to Work checks, Background screening checks etc
- Liaise with all stakeholders across Onboarding business aligned area and be flexible to deliver a holistic service across all stakeholders as required

- A knowledge and understanding of legal and Regulatory requirements to cover off all processes across the team
- Knowledge across the wider HR Function with experience in delivery of activities desirable
- Proven work related experience of working in a fast pace dynamic environment delivering a first class service using up to date process methodology and up to date technology
- Proven experience of working effectively as part of a team and responding to the needs of other team members to provide support and guidance where necessary
