People Manager (HR)
Location: Northampton / Hybrid – home-based and min of 2 days in the Support Centre (with flexibly to travel across the Groups portfolio of practices when required)

As the two groups have recently joined we are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced People Manager to join our growing HR function.
Role overview
As the People Manager for an organisation with over 220 dental practices, you will be responsible for managing all the core HR disciplines such as employee relations, people onboarding and compliance, engagement and improving policies, procedure, and compliance with technology.
The main focus will be on leading and developing a small team of people co-ordinators and HR Advisors to support a growing portfolio of practices.
The People Manager has been picked out as being critical for supporting the CPO to establish a modern HR function that has adapted to the post Covid-19 world.
Responsibilities:
- Team management within the HR function, including
o People Administration – processing onboarding, leavers and CIT
o HR advisory services providing a first point of contact for practices and delegation of complex cases - Ensuring compliance with HR systems including production and analysis of relevant HR reports
- Responsible for all HR policies and procedures across the group
- Developing the people strategies and talent matrix for the Support Teams
- Coaching and mentoring of support team managers to lead effectively and live the values, vision and culture of the organisation
Skills and experience:
- Multi-site experience in People Manager or senior HR advisor role
- Staff management experience
- Advanced qualification or degree level in HR and / or 2 years experience in a management role
- Working knowledge of employment regulations
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to successfully partner and collaborate with employees throughout all levels of the organisation
- Good working knowledge and understanding of regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act and health and safety).
- Willingness to embrace and embody the new culture and values the organisation is developing
