You'll be the driving force for all aspects of the people strategy for our Lexington and Elior London sites within Business & Industry and Independent Schools, c.1500 colleagues across 150 locations.
A truly varied and generalist role where no two days will be the same – from Talent Management to Learning & Development, Project Management to Employee Relations.
Job Description

Key accountabilities:
- Work collaboratively with Directors and stakeholders to ensure People activity/focus areas are aligned with and supports business objectives and strategy
- Lead and deliver Talent Management and Succession Planning activity to provide opportunities for growth and progression across the business.
- Innovate and implement new ideas to drive engagement, embed the company values and nurture a culture of fun and inclusivity alongside the facilitation of current engagement forums/programmes
- Organise and oversee development programmes, identifying specific training needs and implementing appropriate learning and development solutions that upskill our colleagues.
- Coach and guide managers through complex ER and employment tribunal matters
- Support the business in the successful transfer in, and out, of employees under TU(PE) regulations ensuring we not only meet legal compliance but deliver high levels of engagement with transferring employees
- Proactively analyse data from monthly reports to track key statistics and identify trends and appropriate solutions

Skills and Experience
- Be Passionate about people and the employee experience
- Come with ideas, we would love to see your passion and creativity
- Have experience of building strong and proactive working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders which build trust and credibility
- Be able to demonstrate sound professional judgement and a common-sense solution focussed approach to problems
- Have excellent attention to detail with high quality and engaging written and verbal communication skills
- Be qualified to Degree level
- Be CIPD qualified - to level 5 ideally
- Have experience in TUPE
- Previously worked in a multi-site business
- Strong experience of working as a lone manager in a generalist HR role
- Ideally have knowledge of retail or hospitality sectors
- Great presentation skills
- Strong IT skills
