Handle are excited to be working with a sustainability lifestyle brand looking to bring a People and Culture Manager to their growing team. The role is based in Margate - candidates must live locally.

Founded in 2012, the business focuses on sustainable lifestyle products, and investing back into the local community. Their passion for the planet and their product is clear - with cohesion across the entire brand! They are a tight knit group of 50 across production, retail, and the wider office - with a second location based in London.

The P&C Manager will report into the MD and work a broad generalist remit managing any day-to-day people issues, providing close partnership to managers and leaders, and building a well-oiled HR operation. You'll get under the skin of the business, bringing the culture to life, helping formalise L&D, creating clear job roles and career pathways. It's an autonomous role with lots of scope to put your own stamp on and get creative!

The ideal candidate will be a creative-thinking HR generalist with a non-traditional background. Experience working in a smaller company would be preferred.

This is a real blank canvas role, suited to someone who can come in and help build in some processes and structure that suits their current culture (they have some basics in place but lots to do).

They are looking for either full-time or part-time candidates, must be based locally to Margate as this is where the innovation and production of their products happens.
