Hybrid working 3 days in the Manchester office, 2 days at home

Hours 37.5 hours
Salary £40,000

What will you be doing day-to-day?
Operating as the Group HR expert, to advise, guide and support managers day to day, providing guidance with people challenges, performance management, attendance and employee relations issues. Managing talent and developing recruitment. Ensuring all inTEC employees feel valued. This is a new and exciting role that will allow you the autonomy to bring your own ideas and past experience to the role. You will have guidance of an external
Employment Law advice provider on hand to support you.
Overview of the role
This role is a new role to the business, you will head up a team of 2
people and will work closely with the Board and Management team,
supporting with all People and Culture matters. inTEC is an agile
business, subject to a lot of change and this is a fast paced role that
requires resilience and the ability to drive change.
- Owner of the employee lifecycle.
- Maintaining and creating relationships with recruitment agencies, supporting managers with end to end recruitment process.
- Line Management responsibility for the Office Administrator and PA to Exec and People and Culture Business Partner (South)
- Weekly reporting on people/performance issues.
- Induction of all new starters.
- Supporting with acquisition integration.
- Ensuring the Group offices remain compliant and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
- Personal Development Planning.
- Management of Culture Champion Team and Culture Calendar.
- Managing relationships with apprentice providers and working with managers to support apprentices and ensure completion of qualifications.
- Disciplinary procedures.
Personal attributes
- CIPD Level 5 Qualification
- Several years experience in a HR /People and Culture Role
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal) and enjoys collaborative working, able to gain support and cooperation from colleagues.
- Upholding confidentiality and manage discreet situations.
- Understanding of overall Group Strategy and commercial impact of People and Culture initiatives.
- Approachable and empathetic.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Agile and resilient.
- Ability to manage and work with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible, ready to get stuck in with what is needed and make it happen.
- The ideal candidate would have experience in restructures, acquisition integration and have worked in a fast growing business, however this is not a requirement of the role.
