Job Outline:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HR generalist to oversee Crowdcube’s HR practices and processes across our UK offices in London, Exeter, Cardiff and Manchester and European offices in France and Spain.
This London-based role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of operational HR and the employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will be a strong project manager, pay exceptional attention to detail and will want to demonstrate operational excellence in everything they do.

What you will be doing:
Responsibilities for this role will include: management of HR, Recruitment and L&D processes; researching and presenting HR data analytics, working collaboratively with Crowdcube’s Chief of Staff and Head of People & Culture on strategic HR projects such as data analysis, surveys and HR-related procurement and supporting them in all aspects of employee relations
There is also potentially the opportunity for line management within the People & Culture team.
Day to day you will:
Drive operational excellence across all areas of the business, identifying areas for improvement and change as the business grows whilst retaining our company culture.
Act as project manager for strategic HR projects.
Oversee the recruitment, selection and onboarding process, including managing our ATS and working closely with hiring managers and agencies to ensure the smooth delivery of the recruitment process, including applicant communication and vetting candidates as well as drafting and issuing offer letters and employment contracts
Assist with visa applications and management of right to work status
Manage key employee communication - eg new starter, promotion and probation letters
Work closely with payroll on HR related matters e.g. maternity paternity leave, holiday and sick pay, and employee benefits
Manage the administration of our UK and European employee benefits including Plumm, PMI, cycle to work scheme
Designing and update HR forms, templates and documentation as required in line with latest employee regulations and legislation
Assist with the coordination of our performance review cycle
Manage our HRIS and compile and maintain paper, digital and electronic employee records in line with GDPR requirements
Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of all employees
Ensure the smooth roll out and compliance of HR policies
Research training providers and oversee company wide training
HR reporting and data analysis as required using data from our HRIS and ATS
Support with employee relations issues as required
Promote and drive DEI initiatives
Act as the first point of contact for all HR related queries.
Ideally you will have:
CIPD Level 3 Qualification and a minimum of two years generalist HR experience covering the full employee lifecycle
Competent IT skills with experience using an HRIS, ATS and online training platform
A good knowledge of employment law and understanding of GDPR requirements
Willingness to stay up to date with employee legislation to ensure workplace compliance
And you will:

Have excellent time management, planning and prioritising skills with the ability to organise your own workload and work to deadlines

£35-40k DOE
