We’re looking for a People Communications Partner to join our People Comms and Engagement Team at Tesco Bank. You’ll be responsible for directly supporting our executives as both a strategic and tactical communications partner. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the business to lead, develop, implement, and support a variety of colleague communication and engagement projects. You’ll bring our strategy, purpose, and stories to life in interesting and meaningful ways for our colleagues.

You’ll be able to:

Show considerable experience in internal communications and delivering engaging and targeted communications for different audiences.

Advise, coach, and influence senior leaders.

Collaborate at all levels within an organisation to gain commitment to the content and strategies needed to deliver internal communications projects.

Produce compelling and creative communications campaigns using a wide range of channels.

Carry out measurement of communications, evaluating results and reviewing lessons learned to adapt future approaches to suit the needs of different audiences.

Work at pace and manage many different priorities at the same time, as well as having an exceptional eye for detail.

Be in touch with the latest communication developments, constantly seeking new ideas to improve the communications experience for Bank colleagues.

Demonstrate a great writing style and apply tone of voice and brand guidelines in practice.

Be competent in delivering communications through SharePoint, Microsoft Packages, HTML email software, employee apps, such as Workplace by Facebook (Meta), Yammer etc,

Your current/previous job title might be: Strategic Communications Advisor, Internal Communications Business Partner or Communications & Engagement Business Partner.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Internal Communications professional to business partner executive stakeholders. You’ll report into the Senior People Communications Partner and work closely with the rest of the People Comms and Engagement Team, to develop and deliver engaging communications that inspire, inform and engage our colleagues.

Key accountabilities:

Partner key areas of the business, to support change and transformation, deliver projects and provide advice on the most effective ways to engage colleagues, as well as developing a strategy, plan, content, and material to deliver against the required communication objectives of each area.

Responsible for contributing to and driving the delivery of the internal communication and colleague engagement strategy.

Collaborate to develop impactful and measurable communications that support Tesco Bank in its transformation, achieving its purpose and delivers the overall internal communications strategy.

Regularly seek, collate, and analyse internal communication feedback and data and use this to draw insight and suggest future improvements.

Manage the delivery of strategic internal communications projects and programmes out to the colleagues of Tesco Bank.
