Job description

We are seeking an outstanding people professional to join our team at an exciting time in the Trust's growth and development.

This role will provide senior operational and strategic support to leaders and their teams. Building on our culture of clinical leadership and high staff engagement you will be able to contribute towards improvements and change programmes whilst growing your own skills and experience in a friendly, dynamic environment.

You will have a varied background in People and Culture including some experience in Organisation Development. You will also have an evident understanding of business partnering and associated tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish effective partnering arrangements with respective Leadership Team members and managers in their areas of responsibility
  • Develop a sound understanding of workforce strategic plans and challenges in order to provide a business partner service delivering practical people solutions
  • Proactively use tangible and intangible workforce information and business intelligence to work with Leadership team and Managers to deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Deliver appropriate Organisation Development interventions with leaders and teams across a range of domains
  • Support change management initiatives with Leadership Team and managers using a wide range of techniques so all people aspects of change are taken into consideration at the earliest opportunity and are managed effectively.
  • Coach and mentor respective People Advisors and Officers, providing an escalation point as appropriate.
  • Support the development of line management competencies with people management issues through delivery of effective workshops, training events and individual coaching, as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving individual and team objectives whilst maintaining a commitment to work with and support the activities of all team members to create a single, harmonious, consistent and professional People and Culture service across the Trust.
