The role and responsibilities As People Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Unifrog employees to work at their best. You'll help us to retain a happy and effective team by developing great relationships with team members and making sure that all our internal systems and processes are as efficient as possible. Your key responsibilities: People operations Update and track employee time off on - our HR system. Monitor and manage our People inbox, being the first point of contact for queries and requests from the team (e.g. about benefits, policies, or training). Maintain employees' electronic people files, ensuring documents are filed efficiently and that employee data is up to date on Bamboo. Work with the People and Development Manager to: Improve our People team and wider Unifrog HR processes. Coordinate and administer company benefits (e.g. health schemes, training), and research other ways to improve our employee experience. Manage the expenses system for our employees and look for ways to improve this process. Team support Look after our team! Send cards and gifts for anyone celebrating a birthday, wedding or important life event; put together wellbeing packages to support people's health; and work with our People and Development Manager to develop recognition initiatives for the team. Book hotels, conference rooms and training courses for other teams. Support team leaders with planning for upcoming away days and events. Office management Make sure our office space is tidy and that storage space is being used effectively. Manage our technology needs in the office and keep track of the equipment we own. Make sure that all supplies (e.g. stationery, breakfast items, coffee and tea) are well stocked. Be the main point of contact with external contacts (e.g. the building managers, our cleaners). Share relevant news and events related to our office space with the team. Working together You'll work closely with our current People team, including our: Recruitment Lead, People and Development Manager, and Head of People and Finance. You will also work with our Finance team on a regular basis when processing expenses and making bookings. You'll have regular contact with people across all of our teams and you should build great professional relationships with team members to deliver an excellent employee experience. You'll be line-managed by the People and Development Manager. What we're looking for Strong written and verbal communication skills. Personable and able to build great professional relationships. Excellent customer service. Ability to manage sensitive employee information, maintaining confidentiality. Keen attention to detail. Excellent organisation skills. Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, and happy to ask for support when it's needed. An interest in education, careers, and development. Proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in. Key details £27,500 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience (Grade A), plus a share in a company-wide performance bonus. Full time. Split your time between home and our office in Hoxton, London (a minimum of 2 days per week). 28 days paid holiday per year (plus bank holidays). Working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 4:00pm on Friday. Start date: as soon as possible, though we will be flexible for the right candidates.
